Raising Baby as Vegetarian


Raising a vegetarian baby can be tricky because complete proteins, most commonly found in meats, are the building blocks for proper growth and development.

Eggs, nuts, dairy, and seeds are usually complete proteins, meaning they contain all 9 essential amino acids. Legumes - such as beans and peas - must be combined with a whole grain to make the protein complete.
