Adding Spices to Homemade Baby Food


Many cultures around the world will add spices to their baby's food. Adding certain spices can be fine, but I would do so with caution , at least in the beginning.

Start out with a mild spices, such as adding nutmeg or cinnamon to apples or sweet potatoes. Add cumin or mild chili powder to meats or vegetables, as it can add tons of flavor without the heat. Experiment with different mild spices to see what your baby likes. Babies like good flavors as much as we grown-ups do!
