A Recipe for 6-9 Months
3 medium-sized apples
½ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
½ cup water
Peel and chop apples into cubes (about a 1 inch), discarding the core. Place apples, blueberries and water in sauce pan; simmer on medium-low heat until apples are tender and blueberries burst open – approximately 10-12 minutes.
Once cooled, add all contents of pan (including liquid) to food processor. Puree until smooth. Add more water if necessary.
Dispense puree evenly into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.
